Why We Teach Business
There are three main reasons why we teach the Micro-MBA program Made in America: Start a Business, Stop an Addiction.
Reason #1: Pro-Education
Education creates new opportunities. Entrepreneurship creates economic opportunities. In today's hyper-complex world, people want more than a stable paycheck and decent living–they want fulfilling careers. Education and entrepreneurship can be the bridge to a brighter future. We want to create an opportunity for everyone, willing to step forward, to discover and develop private enterprise as a means for a better, brighter future. Winston Churchill said it best “Some regard private enterprise as if it were a predatory tiger to be shot. Others look upon it as a cow that they can milk. Only a handful see it for what it really is--the strong horse that pulls the whole cart.”
Reason #2: Pro-America
It is of critical importance to keep small business proliferation in the US going strong, as China has a 2025-plan to be the next world power. According to a report by the U.S. Small Business Administration, there are over 28.8 million small businesses in the United States. Amazingly, they account for 99.7% of all American businesses, which proves that they are an integral part of the American economy. We should protect, maintain, and accelerate our economic momentum.
Reason #3: Anti-Addictions
Should I say anything more?! Currently, substance and behavioral addictions in the US in all shapes-and-forms are running rampant and should be of great concern. We can mitigate this concern constructively and intelligently. When someone starts a business, the individual's curiosity, creativity, competence, and character are all incorporated in a form-and-function, where the youth can express his/her unique gifts-and-talents.
There you have it: Pro-Education + Pro-America + Anti-Addictions = Made in America: Start a Business, Stop an Addiction.
